M.Sc. Electronics

M.sc. Electronics course is of two years duration of which the first academic year is known as M.Sc.-Previous and the second year as M.Sc.-Final. In each academic year there are six theory papers and two practical papers. The whole course has been designed to enable our students aquire comprehensive knowledge of the subject. This course encompasses various facets of Electronics and Telecommunication, Physics, Mathematics, Computer and Information Technology. Secial training on instrumentation is imparted to our students by distinguished experts in this field. Out of six papers four papers are of general nature and two papers completely devoted to computer science, and are called " special papers". In the second academic year i.e. M.Sc.-Final students are assigned a "project work", supervised by their teachers. The project report earns credit during practical evaluation of the final year.

This course was approved by the Govt. of Bihar (vide memo no. 372 dated 15 February, 1996) and Magadh University (vide letter No. X-Dev-150/06 dated 10 April, 1996.This course is meticulously designed for aquisition of comprehensive, purposeful knowledge and skill required for gainful employment in various sectors like Govt. departments, public and private undertakings.

B.Sc. Electronics

B.Sc. Electronics is a three year course consisting of seven papers, out of these two theory papers are covered in the first year and two in the second year while the remaining three theory papers are covered in the final i.e. third year. B.Sc. Electronics course aims in creation of a strong foundation of Electronics and Physical Science in-general, among its students.

Examination which are to be held after the completion of yearly courses, consist of theory and practical parts of the paper. The duration of examination of theory and practical parts are of three and six hours respectively.In the final year the practical paper consists of a project work.

Certificate Course in Electrical Equipment Maintenance (EEM)

The Certificate Course in Electrical Equipment Maintenance (EEM) is of one year duration. At the end of the academic session, there will be an examination. The candidates will be examined in two theory papers each of 100 marks and one practical paper carrying 100 marks. The total marks in theory and practical taken together shall be 300. Each theory paper consists of two modules. Questions will be asked in each paper from both modules. The candidate who have passed +2 Examinations in any discipline are eligible for admission to this course.
